IT'S DONE!!! ...BUT IT WAS A BATTLE.

Hello all!

I am extremely proud to say that we are now completely done with the album! All we have to do now is sit back and watch the mail for the finished product to come in!

However...
...getting here was by no means easy.

Mixing / Mastering:
After spending all last week (literally 7am - 1am some days) mastering the cd to get them right, I have pretty much had my fill of listening ALL the songs for a while lol! It was totally worth it though. They came out great, and I'm really proud of everyone on the team for what we were able to accomplish.

Artwork:
This one almost didn't happen. When it came around to the Tuesday night we had picked to have the photo shoot there were warnings for extreme weather, but we went out anyway hoping to get done before the rains came. So, we get to Greenway Farms and the sky is MENACING! There was lightning every couple seconds, and we could literally see the rain getting closer. But, as you can see from the heading above, we did get what we came for. This was almost the last picture taken right before we ran to our cars and the rain hit like a waterfall. God held back the floodgates for us for sure!

Submitting Everything:
This is simple.
- We had until 4pm July 1st to get the artwork zipfiles uploaded, and due to internet problems that day, the stuff went through at 4:10pm. If it hadn't been for our awesome Disc Makers rep holding the doors open for us that would have happened.
- Thursday (today) July 7th was the last day to get the master copy of the CD to Disc Makers, and it got there yesterday at noon lol.

All in all...
We had a couple of close calls, but God's hand was in it from the moment we started recording to the moment I dropped off that master disc at the post office. I am so glad that He is always in control, because I know that without His peace I would not have made it through these last 2 weeks.

What lesson can you kids learn from all this? What did I learn? Don't set a release date before you actually have the hardcopy of the real thing in your hands.

Seriously though, it came out amazing! I can't wait for you guys to hear it in its entirety, and more than that, I can't wait for the first time we get to worship together with them! For now, you can go to the Spirit and Truth Band Facebook page to listen to a preview of each song.
